About Quality Mortgage Services

Since inception in 1992, Quality Mortgage Services, LLC was founded on a very solid knowledge of mortgage reviews and mortgage agency audits. Founder, Tom Duncan, spent many years with the HUD/FHA Monitoring Division and the Office of Lender Activities and Interstate Land Sales. Being one of the first FHA Monitoring Representative and one of the first mortgage quality assurance professional in the country, he performed hundreds of mortgage compliance audits. These mortgage QC audits were the first of their kind, setting the stage for the industry in mortgage quality control, mortgage default auditing, and mortgage compliance reviews as the industry knows it today. Tom Duncan performed mortgage fraud investigations that resulted in the conviction of many mortgage fraud schemers as well as performed audits that resulted in the loan repurchases of FHA loans. Tom also performed regular FHA mortgage audits and validated FHA underwriting practices and procedures for FHA correspondents and mortgagees.

It soon became very obvious that there was a significant industry-wide need for qualified mortgage compliance advisor quality control and compliance auditors. Tom Duncan founded Quality Mortgage Services which was created to fill that industry void. Quality Mortgage Services quickly became recognized as a leader in mortgage quality control and mortgage quality assurance.
